Hard to believe that it was 2 years ago (yesterday) that Winston and I were blessed with this little miracle we named Luke. This month has been crazy with our trip to Washington, me getting back to work, and Winston in the throws of football season so we decided to have a couple people over for a little birthday celebration on Wednesday night. It was a perfect way to celebrate 2 years of life and, in spite of an Elmo birthday cake near-disaster (head too big, face too small, had to rearrange to make it look presentable, and, just to top it off, they wrote "Happy Birthday Ruke" on the cardboard), and one crying spell, Luke had a wonderful time with his friends. Oh, and he can tell you that he's two!
