Yes, Another Train!

Luke's obsession with trains continues.  Oh, and with fire trucks, garbage trucks, big rigs, ambulances, etc.  It must be something in a little boy's DNA, they are wired to love anything with wheels!  He is also obsessed with Christmas lights.  On nights when we drive home and it's already dark we find a new street to check out and see "all those pretty lights".  Fortunately, many people in our neighborhood are also obsessed with Christmas lights (you know, like my dad and Clark Griswald) so there are many houses to admire. 

So it was perfect last night that we went to Victory Camp in Alvin, TX where they have a Christmas train!  A 15 minute train ride takes you through a "winter wonderland full of Christmas displays, a Nativity scene and over 300,000 lights"  (I'm quoting so I don't get sued by http://www.thechristmastrain.org/).  They also have pictures with Santa, food and crafts for sale, story telling with Mrs. Claus, and a pizza place. 

The night was a surprise for Luke and it was fun to see his face when he saw the train.

  He takes his train riding very seriously. 

 They let Luke sit in the conductor's seat after the ride.

 Inside there was a Christmas village set up with a train set running through it.  Luke stood and just stared. 

It was a great night...good food and entertainment for the whole family!
