Preparing for Christmas has been so fun this year seen through the eyes of a 2 year-old. We put up the tree on Saturday and Luke was SO excited about the lights and the ornaments. He also knows how to turn on the lights and, now that he crawls out of his crib, has taken to turing on the lights in the morning before he goes in to wake up Winston. (side note - his "big boy" bed and room are in the planning stages but between our schedules, me being sick for over a month, and the holiday season, this looks like more of a January project)

...Santa jammies!!
Jammies are one thing, actually seeing Santa was another story! We attended Winston's family party at the station on Saturday where we enjoy the luxury of a line-free Santa visit, music and dancing for the kids, arts and crafts, and food. We talked up Santa all day in the hopes of a happy Christmas Kodak-moment but our efforts were in vain. Luke watched with interest as Santa made his grand entrance but would not let go of me when his name was called for his picture. Oh well, what can you do except know that these colorful Santa pictures will make for wonderful memories when taken out every year!
